Christ’s resurrection that we celebrate at Easter has brought so much joy to all of us who live for Christ.   Tonight my son and I walk past a home that a sign in their front yard with the words printed on it “JESUS LIVES!  Happy Easter!”  I started laughing for joy.  Just a few moments later, we walked past a car with a book by Pastor John Piper laying on the dash.  In a few minutes a neighbor stepped out to the sidewalk to chat with us about, … Easter!

At Woodland Church Easter morning, so many walked across the stage with a simple cardboard testimony that told the dramatic transformation that Christ has made in their life.  It was one of the most deeply moving spiritual experiences of my life.  They were my friends.   Friends that because Jesus lives they have literally been born again!  So cool!  So Bible like!

Think about these words “Christ lives in me. The life you see me living is not “mine,” but it is lived by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. I am not going to go back on that. Galatians 2:21, Message

Earlier in the passage Paul said, “I am not trying to impress anyone.”  He is just living by faith in Christ who loved him and gave himself for him.  That’s the kind of love anyone of us can rejoice in.  Love that is transforming.  His loved changed Paul, me, and my friends.  I plan to post a video of their cardboard testimonies on YouTube later this week.  I’ll let you know when its up!
