Yesterday was a day of sadness.  We said good-bye at the funeral to a young man that one year ago placed his faith in Jesus Christ.  After his commitment to Christ, he joined a small group and started growing as a follower of Christ.  I sat in his bedroom, where he died, the other day looking at his Bible and highlighted devotional books.

You can’t help but weep.  One year in faith.  One year with new friends.  One year of new life but a struggle with depression and darkness.  Grace prevails but what a great cost.

Please help my pray for those who placed their faith in Christ at the funeral.
