“Fear of the Lord is the foundation of true wisdom. All who obey his commandments will grow in wisdom. Praise him forever!” (Psalm 111:10, NLT)
Wisdom has been a goal for me anchored in the Biblical truth that wisdom’s foundation is the fear of the Lord. Wisdom is looking ahead, the long game not the short game. It’s why I love reading the book of Proverbs. Think about 31 chapters of godly wisdom, one chapter a day. I encourage you to read the book daily.
IRAN
President Trump authorized an attack; with capabilities according to the press that only our nation possesses, on Iranian military nuclear facilities. David Albright, one of the world’s preeminent experts on Iran’s nuclear capabilities, makes the math for building nuclear weapons comprehendible. Speaking of the 60% uranium, he said that Iran could build 11 nuclear weapons within a month, 22 weapons in five months. “When you’re at 60%, it may look like you’re 30% short on percentage, but you’re actually 99% of the way in terms of enrichment effort.” https://www.wsj.com/opinion/iran-is-down-but-not-yet-out-nuclear-development-program-tehran-915d683d?mod=Searchresults_pos1&page=1
Personally, I am glad that we are standing with our ally Israel. Since 1979 Iranian fundamentalistic regime has declared death to Israel and worked brutally and savagely towards that national goal. They declare our nation to be the Great Satan.
So the question is did the President act according to the Constitution. My answer is yes. The President is invested with the office of Commander in Chief every day that he holds office. This was not a declaration of war. This was a preemptive attack on the clear and present danger of Iran’s militant and criminal nuclear program. Diplomacy has not worked. From what I have read in the news behind the scenes nations are relieved by the destruction of Iran’s capabilities for the time being.
This was defensive action based upon the regime’s declared offensive goal to wipe out Israel, attack the United States, and other nation.
This was an attack on military targets and not civilians. The Iranian regime’s bloody record has always been against civilians.
FRIENDS
This is my friend Daniel. He is very sharp and bright young man. He drove down from North of the city to join us for worship services at Woodland yesterday. We enjoyed a casual two hour lunch yesterday discussing faith, politics, current events, and his work in community relations and as an artist. I’m grateful for his friendship.

This is our friend Beth. After brief career with Lear, she served as a missionary to the Netherlands, and now is pastoring with her husband Sam in the great state of Arkansas. She is so much fun to hang out with. Big faith, big heart, and a big smile. We love her!

Peace!
Thank you Pastor for sharing this . No matter what will come In God we trust! ❤️🙏🏻🙏🏻
Good word! Thank you for sharing both truth and wisdom. Praying with you for God’s direction and sovereign protection for our country, the nation of Israel, and peace in the Middle East.
