Fire Up Your Fitness, Plan for Success, Have a Happier Healthier New Year, Become More Productive. I think all of them are good. New Year is a natural time to think about a Reset in our life. Prayerfully thinking about our life plans and setting goals and solving problems to achieve them is a wise way to live.
When my computer has an issue, it makes a report on what the problems are and resolves them. Examining our lives will help us figure out what the snares and bottlenecks are that freeze us in life.
I was preaching for a congregation in Georgia one Sunday morning. The pastor of the congregation led us in prayer with a broom in his hand. He prayerfully ask the Lord to help us all sweep out our doubts, fears and insecurities so that we wouldn’t be hindered from achieving God’s will for our lives. It was and effective and memorable illustration. I have thought of it often when praying and counseling with people.
What needs to be swept away in your thinking? In your life? In your relationships? Career? Before you go to sleep tonight or when you wake up in the morning, take time to prayerfully sweep away your doubts and, well, Grow in Faith, Fire up Your Fitness, Become more Productive and Have a Healthier Happier New Year!
