After my morning devos, I started Ted Kennedy’s memoir True Compass. Hopefully I will get an understanding of his background and thinking regarding some of the issues that he brought him into conflict with his Roman Catholic faith.

After doing a few chores on my Honey Do list and getting a haircut I did something that I haven’t done since going to Asia. I split firewood. 🙂 It’s unbelievable how much I enjoyed swinging that splitting maul. It was fun to see the wood pop and split and feel the sweat running down my face. Becky wasn’t very happy but I used common sense and whistled the whole time. I’m going for a run before dinner. I should be as hungry as a bear. Guilt free eating tonight.
