Becky’s parents are visiting with us this week for Benjamin’s graduation.  I have known them all of my life.  He was the youth director at the church I grew up in, until he became a pastor later on.  My earliest memories include them in my parents home, Daddy holding me in his arms while he showed Pastor Stewart his new ’57 Chevrolet.  My favorite memories though are Becky sitting in her Mom’s lap in church.  Mrs. Stewart would brush Becky’s hair and Becky would smile.  I’ve always been in love with Becky.

When I was a young man I read this quote by Ben Franklin.  “Dost thou love life?  Then waste not time; for time is the stuff life is made of.”  Time has quickly past and I have loved and enjoyed the good life God has blessed Becky and I with.
