The Rapture Gives Me A Confident Love!

Whenever, I invite someone to join our team, it’s pure joy to share our vision, our team members, and to paint the picture of the future. Jesus, wow, did he ever do it differently! Some of you will die, be persecuted, hated and despised. If they have hated me they will hate you. Come on Jesus, really! That’s no way to build a team or a following! Even some of his disciples rebuked him.

However, His way worked! He built a team of disciples, built and continues to build a Spirit empowered Church, that despite suffering and persecution continues to flourish. It’s a wonder that we haven’t destroyed the church. Think of the charlatans, the wolves in sheep’s clothing that have fed off the flock rather than fed the flock, the doctrinal errors. Consider the political, ethnic, spiritual, and religious persecutions against the body of Christ. Yet, God has a people, a flourishing, healthy body of believers around the world!

He promised that He would build His Church and the gates of hell wouldn’t stop it’s advance. He promised one day He would return for us! And He will! That promise often refreshes me. I look up in the air and wonder “could it be today!” Nothing has diminished that hope. I am more confident that ever. In light of that I want to live passionately for Christ boldly loving and serving others. Always looking forward to the promise of His return increases my confidence in His example and call to boldly love!

“We couldn’t be more sure of what we saw and heard – God’s glory, God’s voice. The prophetic Word was confirmed to us. You’ll do well to keep FOCUSING on it. It’s the one light you have in a dark time as you wait for daybreak and the rising of the Morning Star in your hearts.” 2 Peter 1:19, Message

Be confident, be loving and be ready for Christ’s return!
