One of the first Bible stories I remember was told to me by Kate Holloman.  We called her Sister Kate and boy we loved this wonderful woman.  With a flannel graph (this was long ago and far away) she told us how Jesus told Nicodemus you must be born again.  That’s where it all begins for all passionate followers of Christ.  It’s truth that we have to drive a stake down and say this is truth!

In our pluralistic society it’s not popular, but it is true.  It’s the most loving truth that can ever be shared.  Unlike all other religions which depend upon your works, the truth is nothing we can do will ever prepare us for heaven.  Jesus Christ accomplished this for us at the cross.  By trusting Him, God accepts and adopts us as His children!  We will stand thankfully not trusting in ourselves, but in Christ!

We stand upon this truth!

“This is how much God loved the world: He gave his Son, his one and only Son. And this is why: so that no one need be destroyed; by believing in him, anyone can have a whole and lasting life. God didn’t go to all the trouble of sending his Son merely to point an accusing finger, telling the world how bad it was. He came to help, to put the world right again. Anyone who trusts in him is acquitted; anyone who refuses to trust him has long since been under the death sentence without knowing it. And why? Because of that person’s failure to believe in the one-of-a-kind Son of God when introduced to him.” (John 3:16–18, The Message)
