In just a few days many people will make journeys to the special place they call home. They will load up cars with children, pets and presents to go over the river and through the woods to grandmother’s house.

Christmas has been about journey from the beginning. When the angel gave Mary the news that world shaking news that she would bear the Son of God, Jesus, her response was not to enthusiastic. “Let it be according to your word.” She made a journey to see her Aunt Elizabeth, who was also miraculously pregnant. Aunt Elizabeth recognizes the good hand of the Lord and blesses Mary. Suddenly Mary’s perspective changes, “My soul magnifies the Lord.” Aunt Elizabeth helped her make an internal journey of faith in God’s plan.

Your Christmas journey’s become a wonderful life when you make the internal journey of faith in God’s Word, Jesus.
