I joined with the Donofrio family for their mother’s funeral.  Irene Donofrio died earlier this week.  Her son, Vito, is a passionate follower of Christ and a member of Woodland.  I met several members of his family who share his vibrant faith.  It was a joy to talk with them and hear their stories of faith and the memories of their mom.  What a tribute to their mother, love for Jesus Christ, commitment to the Great Commandment and Commission, and love shared between siblings.

When I left the funeral dinner (delicious Hungarian food), I knew that’s I want as a dad, when my life is over.  The greatest epitaph is that my children are passionate followers of Christ, committed to His agenda, and loving one another.
