“The gospel cannot live, fight, conquer without prayer — prayer unceasing, instant, and ardent.” E. M. Bounds.
As you are praying for your friends today, think about this. The problems and challenges facing them, God is working through those issues to bring His peace to them. The peace that passes all understanding. The peace of God that brings wholeness, healing, and the abundance of His presence through Christ into their lives. Ask God for whatever they need. None of us are worthy of His blessings.
Jesus showed us God’s love and compassion by healing and blessing those who came. He answered prayers of intercession from parents and soldiers. Be bold! Be expectant!
Think about this. You have shared the Gospel (Good News) with some of your friends and they have been unresponsive. However, as you continue to pray for them, they will begin to open up. Their fears or misunderstandings are overcome. God’s love conquers their hearts. You don’t even have to tell them you are praying. Just talk to Jesus about their hurts, pains, misunderstanding, or lack of interest. Let’s see what God does.
Who are you praying for today? May I help you pray?
Peace!
